We have collected used staples and aluminum pull tabs from cans donated by our colleagues across all business units. These items were donated to the Association of Persons with Physical Disability International (APDL)on Friday, May 17, 2024. The donated materials will be used as components in the production of aids for people with disabilities such as crutches and walkers, which help facilitate the lives of individuals with disabilities.

The CSR Committee would like to thank you everyone who participated in this activity by collecting and donating pull tabs and used staples. Recycling these materials is one way to help reduce global warming because it decreases waste and pollution. Recycling reduces the energy and raw materials needed for production, resulting in cost savings. By recycling, we reduce the use of underground energy sources, lower carbon dioxide emissions, and mitigate acid rain. It also decreases the need for new raw materials and reduces issues associated with landfill space and waste incineration. Additionally, recycling used materials creates jobs and generates income, while also promoting the community’s economy, leading to a sustainable economic system for the future.
