Khun Teerapon Udomkanjananan, Managing Director, Unithai Shipyard and Engineering Ltd, received a Letter of Recognition from General Surasak Karnjanarat, Minister of Natural Resources and Environment, as Unithai Shipyard and Engineering has put in a brilliant performance in reducing carbon emission. The LOR presentation has taken place at Centara Grand Hotel, Ladprao, Bangkok.

This recognition is part of “Low Emission Support Scheme” programme (LESS), launched by Thailand Greenhouse Gas Management Organization to raise awareness of Greenhouse gas emissions and encourage all concerned sectors in carbon emission reduction.

Unithai Shipyard and Engineering Ltd has supported this project by adding more green spaces and reducing electricity consumption – replacing normal ballasts with electronic ballasts – which could help reduce 556 Tonnes of carbon dioxide equivalent (tCO2e).
