Unithai Shipyard and Engineering Co., Ltd. was awarded for the establishment with good environmental management and conservation practices according to the measures in the 2023 Environmental Impact Assessment Report or EIA Monitoring Awards 2023, with the excellence award in the category of transportation. The event was honored by Mr. Jatuporn Burusphat, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, Chairman and award giver with Mr. Punluek Kittisares, Managing Director of Unithai Shipyard and Engineering Co., Ltd. received the award at the academic seminar and awarding the EIA Monitoring Awards 2023 at Asawin Grand Convention Hotel, Bangkok. This is another achievement that reflects the operations in accordance with good environmental standards, Unithai’s corporate social and environmental responsibility.
The EIA Monitoring Awards are organized by the Office of Natural Resources and Environmental Policy and Planning, Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment to encourage and motivate the establishments to comply with preventive measures and to monitor environmental impacts and develop environmental management mechanisms. Including the importance of complying with environmental measures in the implementation of the project and being a good role model for other establishments.
