Industry for National Defense & Security Association (INDSA), led by its President, Air Chief Marshal Manat Wongwat organized symposium “Industrial directions for national security: towards sustainable prosperity,” uniting military, government and private sectors at Centara Grand at CentralWorld.  Mr. Sutin Klangsang, Minister of Defense, chaired the event showcasing government-private sector collaboration and vision.

Military representatives, including general Dr. Noppanan chanpradab, Admiral Korkiat Pandee, Air vice marshal Anurak Romnaruk, and Mr. Krits Jansuwan, discussed future security vision. Business leader representing the core Air, Land and Sea sectors including Mr. Peerapol trakulchang, Dr. Nopparat Kulhiran, and Dr. Attasit Korchaiyapruk, Managing Director of Engineering & Fabrication Group IMC and Unithai and Chairman of Group Sector of Ship Building, Repairing and Steel Fabricator, Federation of Thai Industries, exchanged view of current industry, key issues and potential solutions to lead Thailand toward a sustainable development of the industry.

This symposium exemplifies sector-wide discussions towards a more secure Thai economy, supported by government policy and direction to enhance manufacturing and workforce development. Promoting “Thai-made, Thai-used, Thai-secure” principal to boost confidence in domestic production, shaping a brighter economic future of Thailand.
