Finance & Accounting and IT Dept., Unithai Group of Companies led by Khun Suparat Akejittramorn, Country Finance Head and Khun Photchaman Traipat, Country IT Manager organized the “AI workshop” at Unithai Head Office. This workshop had participants from various BUs including: UTSC, UTSE, UTCT, UTLC/WC, Uniwise and IT Support. The AI workshop objectives are to educate participants about AI concepts and technologies, to inspire acceptance and curiosity about the possibilities of AI, to increase motivation to engage with AI topics, and to prepare participants to use AI tools as well as explore the business processes for companies and how it can be integrated sustainably. AI is transforming finance and accounting processes in numerous ways.
Here are some key concepts and technologies being utilized in the future:
• Automation of Routine Tasks: AI can automate repetitive and time-consuming tasks, such as data entry and processing, improving effectiveness and efficiency.
• Financial Planning: AI technologies can be used to pull out essential financial information or create effective financial reports that serve the needs of the management.
• Improve Compliance: AI serves as a compliance guru by searching information from the maintained policies and SOPs and supporting users by providing effective answers.
• Support Decision Making: Machine learning algorithms can be trained to recognize patterns and use them to summarize or pick up the information that is required by the management for their decisions. The use of AI technologies can significantly enhance decision-making, risk management, financial planning, and efficiency of business operation in the future.
