Unithai Container Terminal welcomes Shin Yang’s new service

Unithai Container Terminal (UTCT) welcomed the vessel MV Danum 152 from Shin Yang Shipping on March 8, making her regular call-back at our facility.

Shin Yang Shipping Sdn Bhd (SYS), a wholly owned subsidiary of Shin Yang Shipping Corporation Berhad, last year, it launched a service called East Malaysia Express (EME) to connect Thailand, East Malaysia and Brunei. Shin Yang Shipping in Thailand is represented by Max Maritime Co Ltd.

EME will be the first shipping line to offer direct service between UTCT in Bangkok and ports in East Malaysia and Brunei.

The MV Danum will be berthed at UTCT for a week before departing for Port Klang, Penang, Pasir Gudang, Kuching, Sibu, Bintulu, Miri, Muara, Kota Kinabalu and Tawau.

Shin Yang Shipping meanwhile also provides a Shipper’s Own Container (SOC) service at Port Klang, offering both dry and reefer containers.
