Unithai Group gives oxygen production machine to the Department of Medicine, Ministry of Health for medical benefits in the project "Unithai, cooperate, be kind to fight COVID-19"
United Thai Shipping Corp. Ltd. donated Oxygen Concentrators to Department of Medical Services, Ministry of Public Health
As the worsen COVID-19 outbreak in Thailand has caused severe shortage of medical devices at several hospitals, Unithai Group initiated ‘Unithai Charity for COVID-19 Care’ with the aim to ensure patients have access to the life-saving treatments. This CSR initiative is also in accordance with Unithai Group of Companies’ emphasis on sustainable business development, community development, and environmental care with the goal of delivering maximum benefits to customers, communities, and all stakeholders.
United Thai Shipping Corporation Limited representatives led by Ms.Jaruwan Songsang, PhD, Senior Manager – Chartering, Unithai Group and IMC Shipping Co., Pte Ltd, Ms. Pornpen Danpukdee, Corporate Communication Manager, Unithai Group and Mr. Komkit Cholawat, Senior Manager Finance and Accounting, has donated 3 units of Oxygen Concentrators, 10 liters, model OLV-10, valued 111,000 baht to Department of Medical Services, Ministry of Public Health, for medical use in the treatment of COVID-19 or respiratory disease patients to Dr. Pairoj Surattanawanich, Deputy Director of Department of Medical Services, Ministry of Public Health as a representative at Building 1, Department of Medical Services, Ministry of Public Health, Nonthaburi.
